White Christmas

The snow started falling yesterday afternoon and we have over a foot on the ground.  Fortunately, it's the typical Colorado winter powder, which makes it much easier to plow and shovel.

In addition to being easy to shovel, the powder is fun to play in.  Kath and I grabbed the dogs for some snowshoeing on the property.

Wilson enjoys the snow, but has a hard time locating his ball in the deep stuff.

Black Friday Biking

While the masses braved the Black Friday sales, Kath and I met up with our good friend Jon for a social bike ride in the Deer Creek area.

The conditions were fantastic.  There was very little moisture and surprisingly few other folks on the trail.  We had darn near record highs (high 60's).  The warm temps are now a fond memory.  Two short days later, the mercury hovers around 20 F.  Gotta love Colorado.

Working From Home

Working from home may not always be the best option.  Yesterday, our oldest lab walked into the office, looked up at me and farted.  He wagged a couple times as if to say "We're good here, right?", walked back into the living room and situated himself on the couch.

As such, I'm faced with a choice - brave traffic on C470 or share office space with a flatulent lab.  Mental note - change his treats.
